How to Request Deletion

Email support@atomcomment.com with the subject line "AtomComment Data Deletion Request". To help us verify and process the request, include the information below where relevant.

  • Your account email address.
  • Your tenant, company, or business name.
  • The connected platform account, WhatsApp phone number, Facebook Page, Instagram account, or other channel involved, if applicable.
  • The type of data you want deleted, such as account data, chatbot workspace data, CRM/ERP records, customer conversations, platform credentials, or channel connections.
  • Proof that you are authorized to act for the relevant account, tenant, or business if the request relates to business workspace data.

What Can Be Deleted

  • User account information where deletion is legally and operationally permitted.
  • Tenant workspace settings, users, roles, chatbot configuration, knowledge sources, policies, flows, tools, templates, runtime settings, and support configuration.
  • CRM/ERP, customer, invoice, inventory, report, or back-office data controlled by the requesting tenant where deletion is permitted.
  • Customer identifiers, conversations, messages, delivery events, support notes, and handoff records controlled by the requesting tenant.
  • Connected platform credentials, channel assignments, WhatsApp Business Account IDs, phone number IDs, and other Meta or provider integration records where disconnection or deletion is permitted.

Meta and WhatsApp Data Deletion

If a user removes AtomComment from Meta or sends a data deletion request through Meta, Meta may call the AtomComment data deletion callback. When that happens, AtomComment returns a confirmation code and this page URL so the request can be tracked. The callback URL for Meta app settings is:

Users may also request deletion directly by email. Direct email requests are useful when the request involves tenant workspace data, WhatsApp phone numbers, business integrations, customer conversation records, or business authorization checks.

What May Be Retained

Some records may be retained where required or permitted for legal compliance, tax/accounting records, security, fraud and abuse prevention, dispute resolution, backup integrity, operational logs, provider obligations, or enforcement of platform policies. Where possible, retained records will be minimized, restricted, or de-identified.

Response Time

We will review deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible after verifying the requester's authority. Where legally required and technically possible, we aim to complete valid deletion requests within 30 days. Complex business workspace requests, legal obligations, backup processing, or provider-side restrictions may require more time.
